I really appreciate you coming to my class and teaching me how to meditate. It really calms me down. Now, I do not get into as many fights and as much trouble as I used to. Meditating it has also helped me to learn how to listen better, and see how other people feel and think. I also now get along better with my family and friends. I am able to talk freely around anyone, because I know that if they do not like what I am saying, I can meditate and make myself calm down. So once again thank you very much.

Meditation has given me time to figure out what's going on without being so emotional and dramatic. It gives me the opportunity to organize my thoughts out and understand the situation better. It helps me see the whole picture of the issue. Meditation helps because it helps me stay calm. It has made me a much stronger person. I feel so happy when I do meditation in school. It helps me to think about all the people I love and care about. Meditation helps me to get through the day. I haven’t learned that much about meditation. I think I’ve learned more about myself and my soul and what it means to be a good person. I learned how to calm myself and how to release bad thoughts, how to remember what I’ve done to make me a better person. I've learned what it means to care and to love. I think one of the most important things I've learned from myself is how nothing is truly a mistake, but something to learn from. I also think I have learned the greatest thing in life, I’ve learned to make others happy to do what they want, but still do what I want and like what I like and feel what I want to feel. I have learned how to meditate and to go inside myself truly. I learned how to listen to my true feelings through something I never knew or realized existed.

For me, meditation has done a lot to me because it helps me relax and take all my stress out. When I am mad or I feel sad, I meditate and I get relaxed and all the anger and sadness goes away. I like meditation because when I meditate I go into a very deep place and that place is my heart.

Meditation changed me a lot. Since meditation I have grown to know myself better, and to respect myself. I have also grown to myself more. I see myself in a better way, and I’ve become calmer, and more patient with myself and others around me. I feel that I am stronger inside and that I have more control over myself. I feel a lot less stressed because now I know how to meditate. After a hard day, I can go inside and forget about everything around me. I see things in a different perspective, like seeing the glass half full rather than half empty. I've been a lot more respectful towards my parents, teachers and peers and everyone. Some things meditation has done for me are it’s helped me to calm myself and relax. Before meditation, I wasn't really able to calm down and I would always be hyper and a bit rowdy. Now, when I need to calm down, I just practice some of my breathing and become relaxed. Another thing meditation has done for me is that I am happy most of the time and I've been able to forgive some people that I haven't talked to in a while. When I’m in meditation, I feel like I am in my own world and no one or nothing can disrupt it. I am able to go into my mind and gather my thoughts, it is so peaceful and I really enjoy meditation.

Meditation has really helped me relax when I felt stressful, and it has also helped me overcome challenges that I've faced within the past year or so. My mother has recently had cancer, so meditation has really helped me open my heart to her and realize how much I really love her. With that, I was able to overcome my fears about her sickness and just help her out in every way that I could. It also helped me move on from things that I had been holding onto for too long, and those things had just been weighing me down and making me more sad. I just let them go while I was in this class, and now I feel much better. I just wanted to thank you for giving me this time in meditation. I've learned so much about life. Thanks forever.

Meditation has taught me to have an open heart and have forgiveness in my daily thoughts. I feel as though I used to have a closed cold heart, and with meditation I have learned to become a warmer person. During all of this time of meditation, I have felt a lot of relaxation and serenity. This meditation has made me more relaxed about school and not to stressed out about it. When I first started meditation, I thought that we would have to do some kind of yoga, but now I have realized that you do not have to be in a fixed position, just to be relaxed and carefree about all the problems that you are going through in life. Now that I have been doing meditation, I have been able to do better in school and at home. The same with schoolwork and homework. Meditation has been a wonderful experience for me and I hope that I am able to do it next year.

Meditation helped me out with many conflicts. I got mad at my boyfriend one day and I wouldn't ever listen to his side of the story. I ignored him and had an attitude. After meditation, I realize that I had stooped to his level. I was being just as mean as he was. Meditation made me realize that life is very short, precious, and amazingly wonderful. I decided to talk to him and work things out. This action proved to be a wonderful thing. We forgave each other and have been going out ever since.
